Welcome to my site!
On this site, you'll find many examples of custom pet painting commissions by Angie Ketelhut, along with info
on how you can have your four-legged friend portrayed on canvas. I also paint people with their furry friends. Most of my
paintings contain a bit of whimsy & may make you smile or laugh~hopefully they will brighten your day! :-)
Growing up amongst several furry friends, (dogs, cats, guinea pigs, etc) it was only natural that
they would become models for my paintings. With each painting, I aim to capture individual colorful pet personalities,
heart & soul along with the more obvious, physical characteristics. I also enjoy creating paintings that
capture important moments in a particular pet's life, may it be enjoying a favorite yummy treat, lounging
in a favorite chair, or posing in front of a landmark in his/her hometown. My paintings are meant to bring smiles as
the furry "models" themselves make us smile each & every day.
